The Embassy of Nigeria in Hungary has continued its school visitation and Stipendium Hungaricum scholarship drive with a visit to the University of Dunaújváros aimed at expanding educational and training opportunities for Nigerian students.
The Nigerian delegation led by Ambassador Abasi Ogwime, alongside the Social Secretary, Dr Erika Madarász, and Daniel Etawo, were received by the University’s management team led by Vice-Rector for Institutional Development and General Affairs, Dr Mónika Rajcsányi-Molnár.
The visit also featured a tour of the university’s facilities, including its laboratories, where the delegation interacted with lecturers and Nigerian students to gain first-hand knowledge of academic life and student experiences at the institution.
According to the university, eleven Nigerian students are currently enrolled at the University, including six beneficiaries of the Stipendium Hungaricum scholarship programme.
The Embassy said the visit forms part of the on-going efforts to strengthen academic co-operation and secure more educational opportunities for Nigerian youths through Hungary’s scholarship programmes.
